Business Tax Return Filing

Apply for a Pan Card

PAN signifies who you are! Acquire your PAN swiftly and effortlessly.

Each taxpayer in the country is allocated a distinct identification number, known as the Permanent Account Number (PAN), which is assigned by the IT Department for their individual tax accounts maintained by government authorities.

The PAN consolidates the taxpayer's tax-related details, enabling the Income Tax Department to establish comprehensive records for each individual. By linking the PAN card to a taxpayer's financial activities, it effectively combats tax fraud, default, and evasion, yielding significant reductions in such occurrences.

The PAN is required for various purposes, extending beyond filing IT returns. It plays a crucial role in activities like bank account opening, debit or credit card applications, loan applications, fixed deposit account openings, and insurance payments.

To initiate foreign currency exchange, a proof of identity is essential and cannot be overlooked. It is crucial to bear in mind that when buying or selling vehicles, property, or even buying substantial amounts of gold, presenting a copy of the PAN card is now a compulsory requirement.

In order to secure a PAN card, individuals are required to submit an application either at the closest Tax Information Network facilitation centre (TIN-FC) or at the nearest branch of the National Securities Depository Ltd. (NSDL) through their PAN Department. Additionally, the NSDL offers the convenience of online PAN card application submissions.
